“One Time at Camp…” A Virtual Gathering for the Hemophilia B Community

Join us and your Hemo B community for 2 hours of laughing around the “campfire,” learning about camp legends, and telling stories of all kinds.

We will virtually gather for an online get-together using Zoom for activities and community connection on August 19th. Open to the Hemophilia B Community. Accepted applicants will receive a link to the gathering before the event.

August 19th, 2020

7:00pm Eastern Time (4:00PM Pacific Time)

Signing up is really simple! Click one of the buttons below to provide a few details and sign a participant agreement. You’ll get a confirmation email right away, and a second email with a link to the gathering closer to August 19th.

Together we will play games, practice curiosity, and explore the deep waters of advocacy. Advocacy can take many forms, but a few things are consistent. You need to:

KNOW YOUR GOAL

KNOW YOUR STORY

KNOW YOUR AUDIENCE

Even if you’ve never roasted a marshmallow over a campfire, or pranked the neighboring bunkhouse, you’re welcome to explore this creative metaphor for discussing advocacy in the Hemophilia B Community. Telling your story has many different components, like hitting the bullseye in the archery range, gaining the courage to go off the high dive, or engaging your creativity in the arts and crafts den.

What skills will you practice at camp so you can go brag to your non-camp friends?
